A very warm welcome to Sweet Samuel. His session took place in my Weybridge studio. He was joined by mum, dad and big sister Sienna. I just love Samuel in the green hat, so edible! Samuel was a real little star and stayed asleep between many of the shots which is always amazing. This is his sneaky peak. I am a natural light newborn, baby and maternity photographer offering creative photography. Most clients have their session in my purpose built photography studio Weybridge, Surrey where they can relax and enjoy the experience and not worry about tidying up the house. I also offer the option of coming to your home. If you'd like to choose from a large selection of props I recommend you have a studio session. The number of props available for home sessions are limited. I will capture all your baby/child's gorgeousness through my lens so you can enjoy the images for years to come.
Newborn baby sessions take slightly longer than older baby, child or maternity sessions due to tiny babies having to feed often. On average a newborn session can take up to 3 hours. The ideal time to have your newborn photographed is within 2 weeks of their birth. This is when you get those lovely sleeping newborn photos that just melt your heart. Once babies are older than this they start looking a bit more grown up and they don't sleep as easily. It's worth booking your newborn session while you are still pregnant to ensure that you get a booking on the day you want. If you have missed the ideal newborn photography age range then the next good stage is when they are between 4 and 6 months old. After that the first birthday is always a good one, we'll also be doing some cake smashing if you like.

Once you hold your beloved images in your hands the question is : "What do I do now?".
There are so many possibilities and products out there that it makes it difficult to decide. I've been toying with the idea of buying some templates to assist my clients with the decision making. (after closing my eyes and ignoring the price tag I finally purchased them). Now we can take your favourite images and play around with them to see which ones will go together and what the layout should be. I've just started playing around with them and below are a few examples of what can be achieved. Oooh they look so lovely! This service is £25 and includes 3 rooms (you choose which ones). You get to keep the digital files to remind you of how the groupings should look. Believe it or not...the sun does shine in Weybridge :-) We were lucky to catch a glimpse of it during my maternity session last weekend. Ohhh I could do with some of that sunshine now!
I am on holiday and yet I can't resist to share some photos from William's session. He was such an angel and I was lucky to catch one or two smiles. William lives with mum and dad in Windsor and visited my studio for their session. Lovely to meet you!
I have been neglecting my Blog as I have been spending time on updating my website to include my new coffee table product range. They are absolutely gorgeous and I am so excited about them.
See more info on my page: http://www.zeldameyburgh.co.uk/coffee-table-books.html Meet lovely Kiwi Couple Stacey and Andrew. Stacey is 36 weeks pregnant but I still had to make sure to get the right angles to see the bump, lucky you Stacey!:-)
I think I want to move to New Zealand, it seems that all the Kiwies I know are the nicest people! This lovely couple are so cute and so in love, photographing them was like watching a romantic movie. We had a combined studio and location shoot. We found the loveliest autumn coloured trees, just gorgeous.
Thank you Yvette and Ian for making my job so much fun! I often get asked...When is the best time for a maternity photo shoot?
At around 8 months is probably the best time if you are a first time mum and probably slightly earlier when you are having your second or third baby. At this time your bump will be nice and round and you will still feel comfortable enough to move around and do a few poses :-) It is also a good idea to think about what type of photos you would want out of your maternity shoot. Would you go for the more artistic approach where photos are mostly black and white with minimal lighting or would you rather go for the more light, natural look with pretty maternity clothing and nice backgrounds and props or perhaps an outdoor photo shoot? All of these things are worth bearing in mind before having your maternity photography session. |
Please be good and do not copy these images and use them without purchasing them first. Do not crop or alter these images in any way. This includes using them on Facebook. Thank You.
